Robots Serving Ice Cream
The average American eats roughly twenty pounds of ice cream each year. Soon, they’ll get this sweet treat from a robot.
Dice Cream is taking its cue from the fast-growing trend of using robots in the food-service industry. It’s creating a fully-autonomous ice-cream parlor where guests are served scoops by robots.
Notably, the company’s Chief Marketing Officer is Chris Louie, who also serves as CEO of BRNDMKERS. BRNDMKERS is a brand and content studio for startups, and has worked with Miso Robotics, a startup that’s created food-service robots currently used in restaurants like White Castle and Chipotle.
Beta testing for Dice Cream’s robotic ice-cream shops are slated for late 2024 on college campuses.
