According to a startup called InfiniCell, lithium technology has had its moment. It's time for the next battery gold rush.

InfiniCell is building rechargeable batteries that are faster, safer, and more affordable than lithium-ion batteries. While lithium paved the way for things like electric vehicles and energy grids, it poses safety risks, faces rising costs, and has a limited supply.

InfiniCell’s new battery system goes beyond lithium. It uses abundant, low-cost materials to achieve non-flammable performance, ultra-fast charging, and thermal stability.

The company is led by a Ph.D. scientist with fourteen years of experience leading Research & Development for EV battery companies. Furthermore, it's already built a functional prototype of its new battery system.
