Innovega is developing smart glasses — but not like the other guys.
While companies like Google, Meta, and Apple are creating smart glasses intended for augmented- and virtual-reality, Innovega’s smart glasses are designed to bring sight to the more than 1.1 billion visually-impaired people worldwide.
Its glasses feature patented nano-optic contact lenses, clinically proven to restore functional vision to visually impaired and even legally blind patients.
Innovega has been granted seventy-five patents, raised more than twenty million dollars from investors, and has six million dollars’ worth of contract revenue.
