R3 Printing is developing a new generation of industrial 3D printers designed to make American manufacturing faster, cheaper, and more automated.
Its machines can produce parts with less human involvement, helping businesses manufacture products closer to home. Eventually, R3 aims to connect its machines with fully-automated factories that can operate around the clock.
The company has three products on the market and is on track to generate $2.2 million in revenue in 2027. R3 holds fifteen patents and has raised more than $5 million from nearly 10,000 investors. Notable backers include the U.S. Air Force, New York State, and venture-capital firms.
