SmartWeave is using AI to help your body heal itself.

It's creating personalized replacement parts for damaged tissue. While most medical implants today are one-size-fits-all, this startup offers custom implants and materials that can reduce inflammation and help damaged tissue heal and regenerate instead of just being patched.

SmartWeave’s creations can be used to fix torn tendons, repair heart valves, treat pelvic conditions, and restore gum tissue. To create these solutions, the company builds a “digital twin” — i.e., a virtual model of a patient’s body — enabling a custom treatment option that works specifically for that individual.

SmartWeave is targeting the fifty-billion-dollar market for tissue restoration. The company has secured multiple patents, received more than six million dollars in grants, and was one of fifteen startups selected for Tech4Eva, a Switzerland-based startup accelerator.
