Vheda Health builds solutions that provide a mix of human touch and technology to address the growing epidemic of chronic disease.
For the first time in human history, chronic conditions kill more people than infectious diseases...
In fact, in the U.S., 3 out of every 4 healthcare dollars is spent on treating chronic conditions.
Non-compliance is the leading reason health insurance companies and self-insured employers spend $76 billion on diabetes related hospitalizations every year. What keeps patients compliant is giving them attention.
Vheda Health saves health insurance plans and self-funded employers $15,000 per prevented hospitalization by automating care plan compliance.
Its flagship product is Leap, a personalized mobile intervention platform that engages individuals with weekly video visits from a dedicated Vheda Health coach, real-time compliance monitoring, and a focus on overcoming psychosocial barriers. The net result is increased quality of life and decreased occurrence of acute events.
Vheda Health has achieved $100,000 in revenues.
