Propulsion System for Flying Cars
Jetoptera designs unmanned autonomous vehicles and flying cars for military and commercial markets.
Using a unique fluidic-propulsion system, the company’s aircraft are able to take off and land at short distances. They can even take off and land vertically.
Jetoptera has been awarded more than ninety patents. And its prototypes have already taken flight.
In December 2018, the company was one of ten finalists chosen to present to the Starburst Accelerator Selection Committee. This accelerator has partnerships with leading aerospace and aviation companies including Boeing, Northrop Grumman, and United.
Jetoptera has won seven military contracts yielding more than three million dollars in revenue, including for the U.S. Army Aerial Delivery Directorate. The company is sponsored by the U.S. Special Operations Command and Air Force Special Operations Command.
