Stream Your Music Without A Phone
Mighty is a small, lightweight device that takes your streaming music (like Spotify) on-the-go, without being connected to a smartphone.
It's lightweight, durable, and small enough to clip-on to any piece of clothing.
Mighty comes equipped with Bluetooth and WiFi, is compatible with iPhones and Androids, works with wired and bluetooth headphones, and can play 48 hours of music without any internet connection. All for under $80.
Mighty was born from personal frustration with the current on-the-go music experience. Today, every option to stream music while exercising requires a bulky, fragile smartphone.
And phones are only getting larger, more fragile, more expensive, and more battery hungry. This motivated the company to create a simple product that provides users with a comfortable and seamless music fitness experience, all without a phone.
The first version of Mighty will aim to integrate with Spotify only, but the company plans on expanding its support to additional streaming music services in the near future. (Integration with new music services will not require new hardware and can be done remotely through a software update.)
As Thrillist said, "Music is crucial for a good workout, but toting around your fragile smartphone the entire time is annoying -- which is why Mighty Audio is such a game-changer."
The company has raised more than $500,000 in pre-sales from its Kickstarter campaign.
Its strong management team comes from of Google, Qualcomm, Samsung, PwC, Precor, Toyota, and Live Nation.
Anthony has many years of experience in the music business. He was formerly a Product Manager at Live Nation and MOG.
He earned his undergraduate degree from University of Pennsylvania, and his MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management.
Prior to founding Mighty, Anthony spent the past 5 years at Google in a variety of sales and analytics positions.
Before that, he worked for the NBA and ran a company that developed e-commerce solutions for the wine industry.
Anthony has a BS in Economics from UC Berkeley and an MBA from UCLA Anderson.
