New Homes — Made from Recycled Waste
Recycler’s Exchange plans to turn your waste products into fuel, insulation, and even affordable homes.
Every year, an estimated fourteen million tons of plastic ends up in the oceans. By 2050, there may be more plastic in the oceans than fish.
Perhaps surprisingly, however, discarded plastic, mattresses, and tires can be put to good use. For example, Recycler’s Exchange plans to build a plant that will receive used plastic from retailers like Walmart, Target, and Costco. The company will then transform this waste into dirt and fuel. And discarded mattresses and boxsprings will be turned into biochar and be used to build sheds and new homes.
Recycler’s Exchange has filed a provisional patent for its systems and have begun steps to build the necessary recycling plants.
