Technology That Can Read Minds — Of Robots
Slique is transforming how robots and internet-connected devices are integrated, monitored, and managed.
Today, everything is connected to the internet — televisions, washing machines, toothbrushes, lightbulbs, monitors, wearable devices. Collectively, these devices are referred to as the internet of things (IoT). And globally, there are more than eighteen billion of them.
Meanwhile, more than four million robots work just in factories around the world. Together, these two futuristic innovations have created a market projected to surpass two trillion dollars in value by 2030.
But companies aiming to implement robots and IoT systems into their business face challenges. For one thing, the technology powering these systems is often fragmented. For another, there are high costs associated with implementation. Integrating robots and IoT also requires specialized expertise and resources that many companies lack.
This is where Slique can help. Its suite of hardware and software delivers user-friendly autonomous solutions, enabling streamlined integration and management of robots and IoT systems without compromising data security.
The company offers a few main products and services, including:
Data Barn — This platform extracts raw data from robots and IoT devices to offer actionable insights and improve efficiency.
Sierra IoT — This enables users to monitor everything IoT in one easy-to-use platform.
Security — Users can teleoperate their security robots from their office or from halfway around the world. This enables Slique to serve clients seeking things like humanitarian aid or specialized ground operations.
Slique is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider, offering subscriptions that integrate and manage data from various IoT and robotics systems. Target customers include large enterprises and robotics-focused startups. The company generates revenue through its subscription model, charging clients for access to its data-integration services.
Since launching in 2022, Slique has acquired multiple Fortune 500 customers including Caesars Entertainment and Georgia Pacific. In 2024, the company generated more than a million dollars in sales.
Slique is in the process of filing patents related to its data-management algorithms. And in the future, the company plans to enhance the functionality of its technology for sectors including retail, hospitality, and smart-building management.
