Aptera is building the world’s first “never-charge” electric vehicle.
This vehicle generates enough solar power for up to forty miles of daily driving. The average American drives less than thirty miles a day, so most owners will never have to plug in their vehicle to charge. This makes Aptera’s EV one of the first that’s “energy-grid independent.”
Aptera has taken more than 38,000 vehicle registrations, amounting to nearly a billion-and-a-half dollars in potential revenue. The company has been awarded two patents and has twenty-seven patents pending.
