Outsite provides medium- and long-term accommodations for these workers. This real estate company leases attractive communal properties — think a twelve-bedroom villa in Los Angeles or a twenty-bedroom building in Portugal with an attached cafe — and enables members to live and work.

The company started with a small beach house in Santa Cruz, California. Today it has fifty spaces around the world. Each space offers private apartments, studios, or suites, as well as kitchens, shared workspaces, and dedicated community managers.

Outsite has achieved a nine-and-a-half million-dollar revenue run rate, and its annual revenue has doubled each of the last two years. The company has raised more than eight million dollars from professional investors including Montage Ventures, Spark Growth Ventures, and Structure VC.
