Next-Generation Audio Speakers
Resonado Labs is solving a 100-year-old problem.
That problem is bad audio. You see, audio products are rapidly evolving. Yet they’re still using century-old speaker technology.
Picture the shape of the volume icon on your computer or smartphone. It’s the profile view of an electrodynamic speaker driver. If you took apart any sound-emitting product today, you’ll find that type of outdated driver inside — even in products like smart speakers and electric cars.
This speaker is poorly suited for modern products. It’s bulky and can’t be miniaturized without sacrificing performance. Resonado has created a better solution.
It’s engineered Flat Core Speaker, or FCS, technology. This means it’s created speakers that have a thin profile and flat design which caters to the growing demand for slim, space-efficient products.
FCS was created by Resonado's Chief Technology Officer, LH Cho. Cho has 30 years of experience in the audio industry, and was Head of R&D at LG Electronics.
Resonado has raised more than $2 million from notable investors including 500 Startups and Notre Dame’s IDEA Center. And it’s been featured in media outlets such as Forbes, TechCrunch, and NBC Chicago.
Resonado projects to bring in $2 million in revenue in 2021, and has $6 million in potential sales in its pipeline.
